ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Heidi and I am blessed to have over 20 years of experience working with clients to improve their life circumstances.  I am so glad that you have taken that first step to seek support for whatever difficulties you are currently experiencing.  I would love to have the opportunity to get to know you and begin working towards a plan for growth.

I currently specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).  I also have training in many other therapeutic modalities and use different techniques depending on the specific aims of treatment. My goal when working with someone is to help you identify vulnerability factors and discover the underlying function of life choices as they relate to your long-term goals.

I specialize in working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, behavioral issues, academic/occupational stressors, and life transitions. I strive to be warm, supportive, accepting, and non-judgemental while challenging my clients to move towards growth.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my two children, husband, three black cats, and our cavapoo pup. I also enjoy spending time with my friends, reading, binge-watching new shows/movies, and completing puzzles/Legos with my family. Despite being an introvert, I love being outdoors and enjoy traveling, gardening, camping and attending as many local fairs/festivals as one autumn season allows while enjoying a pumpkin chai.
